Boys & Girls Club: Holiday Beauty Lounge

December 21, 2011 SFIEC had the Holiday beauty lounge at the Boys and Girls Club of Treasure Island.  The event was WONDERFUL!!  We did hair cuts, face painting, glitter tattoos, makeup applications, and manicures.  We brought a small army of the SFIEC student body (25 students), and provided services for over 100 kids between the ages of 3 and 18.

The parents along with the director of the club were overjoyed and some in tears.  This was the first time most of these kids experienced someone else doing their hair, makeup, nails, and the smiles on their little faces were priceless.  Lavina (the club director who has worked at the B and G club for over 20 years) said this is by far the best event they have ever had.

Thank you to Dustin and the many students that volunteered their time to help make magic for these children!
